HC Deb 21 April 1944 vol 399 cc495-6W
Sir E. Graham-Little

asked the Minister of Information whether his attention has been drawn to a broadcast on Saturday, 8th April, at 7.45 p.m., in the B.B.C. Home Service, in which a biased description of the White Paper on Health Services was contributed; whether this script was submitted for approval before deliverance; and whether, in the case of B.B.C. contributions upon controversial subjects still under discussion in Parliament, he will arrange for copies of such scripts to be placed in the Library of the House for inspection by Members.

Mr. Bracken

This script was not submitted for approval to the Ministry of Information and there was no reason why it should have been. I understand that the Corporation is always prepared to provide hon. Members on request with the scripts of broadcasts in which they may be interested.
