§ Sir J. GriggMy hon. and gallant Friend is no doubt referring to the payments made to householders who are required to provideunfurnished accommodation with reasonable heating, lighting and baths. The rates payable are Is. 4d. a week for each man accommodated, plus 3s. a week for each room provided with heating and lighting for the soldiers. These rates apply to all British, Dominion and Allied troops and are considered to be adequate for this type of accommodation.
