HC Deb 21 September 1943 vol 392 c47W
Mr. Critchley

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether he will give an assurance that no scheme will be drafted for the reconstruction of the electricity industry without consulting the several bodies who represent the industry and whose interests would thereby be affected?

Major Lloyd George

I can assure my hon. Friend that the Government will not put forward any proposals for re-organising the electricity supply industry without previous consultation with representative bodies of the industry.
