§ Colonel StanleyI assume that this Question refers to the note prepared by Lord Hailey on the bearing of native policy on the proposed amalgamation of the Rhodesias and Nyasaland. In this connection, I would invite the hon. Member's attention to the reply made by the Lord President of the Council, then Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs, to the hon. Member for Rhondda (Mr. Mainwaring) on this subject on 5th March, 1942, to which I have nothing to add.
