HC Deb 28 October 1943 vol 393 c388W
Mr. Mainwaring

asked the Minister of Labour whether he considers the regulations restricting the employment of persons, except through employment exchanges, are sufficiently well known amongst employers, particularly the responsibility of notifying vacancies; and what steps he contemplates taking against those deliberately infringing these regulations?

Mr. Tomlinson

These regulations have been given full publicity and I have no reason to suppose that they are not sufficiently well known; infringements will be the subject of prosecution in all appropriate cases.
