HC Deb 28 October 1943 vol 393 c400W
Sir C. Edwards

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether he has considered a letter from the Bedwellty Urban Council regarding the need for retaining new industries in this district and the necessity for developing the grid system so as to provide an ample supply of cheap electricity at the lowest and a uniform price, not only to keep the present but to attract new industries; and whether anything is being done on these lines?

Major Lloyd George
