HC Deb 28 October 1943 vol 393 c391W
Major Lyons

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will consider the selection and appointment in the early post-war period of an experienced man or woman organiser with experience in India for the further development of cottage and rural industries in the African Colonies?

Colonel Stanley

I am obliged to my hon. and gallant Friend for his suggestion, and I shall see that it is borne in mind when the time comes to consider the making of such appointments.
