asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Economic Warfare whether His Majesty's Government has received any official indication that the Soviet Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics no longer adheres to the view expressed in their note of October, 1939, when they protested against the inclusion of food for civilians and other basic items of mass consumption in the contraband list?

The Soviet Government have not expressed any views on this subject to His Majesty's Government since Russia entered the war.
