§ Mr. ButlerSuch a scheme as my hon. and gallant Friend has in mind is not in operation and would be practicable only if teachers could be directed to teach in particular schools. I am, however, at present giving particular consideration to the question of maintaining and, if possible, increasing the supply of specialist teachers in science and mathematics.
