There has recently been a change in the machinery for dealing with these cases which will, I hope, expedite their settlement. But the hon. Member will appreciate that certain inquiries must be made in order to comply with statutory requirements and these inevitably take a little time. The possibility of further expediting the settlement in these cases is being examined.
