§ Mr. PalingThe compensation payable in respect of the disablement or death of a Naval V.A.D. due to war service is the same as that payable in the case of a member of the Women's Royal Naval Service of comparable status. Those rates are set out in the Appendix to the White Paper "Changes in War Pensions," Command 6459. There is a special disablement rate above that of chief wren for a member serving as an uncertificated nurse Grade I.
