asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will consider exempting goods made by the war disabled and cripples from Purchase Tax?

In so far as such persons make and sell chargeable goods to an amount exceeding £500 a year, they are subject to tax like other persons engaged in trade, and I am afraid it would be impracticable to provide a special exemption in their favour.
