§ Mr. Garro JonesI am aware that the resources of the North-East of England have not been as fully used as those of some other parts of the country for war production purposes. It is the policy of the Government to locate new production in this and other under-loaded regions as opportunity offers, but at the present stage of our production programme only a relatively small number of new factories are being built.
