HC Deb 13 October 1943 vol 392 c899W
Major Nield

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he will consider increasing the number of air-letters for transmission home now allowed to the Forces serving overseas?

Mr. A. Henderson

Inquiries are being made into the possibility of increasing permanently the number of such letters allowed. Meanwhile, as announced today by the Postmaster General, the number of air-letters available to troops overseas between now and Christmas is being increased.
