§ Mr. AsshetonI have seen the public appeal which has recently been made for £250,000 to build, equip and endow the research laboratories of a Department of Ophthalmology at Oxford University. No question of Government aid towards the cost of this scheme has been raised; if it 737W were, it would no doubt have to be considered along with the other post-war needs of the Universities.
