HC Deb 12 October 1943 vol 392 c720W
Mr. Silverman

asked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been called to the attempts of certain persons to discriminate in this country between various classes of His Majesty's subjects on the ground of differences of colour; and what steps he proposes to take to discourage such persons in their campaign against the ideas and ideals of the British Commonwealth of Nations?

Mr. Peake

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given by my right hon. Friend to Questions on the same subject on 23rd September.
