HC Deb 12 October 1943 vol 392 c747W
Mr. N. Maclean

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he is aware that the estate of Braglenbeg, comprising four farms, has been sold recently; and whether he will ensure that those farms will be kept in agricultural use or proper farming?

Mr. Johnston

The answer to the first part of the Question is in the affirmative. The new owner occupies two of the farms, and the Agricultural Executive Committee have no knowledge of any intention on his part to restrict farming operations.
