HC Deb 30 November 1943 vol 395 c229W
Mr. Touche

asked the Minister of Pensions whether he will give a list of those diseases which, in accordance with the consensus of current medical opinion, are not caused or aggravated by military service?

Sir W. Womersley

I am sending my hon. Friend a copy of a reply on this subject which I gave to the hon. Member for Maldon (Mr. Driberg) on 29th July last.

Mr. Viant

asked the Minister of Pensions how many applications for pensions in regard to members of the services whose illness or death was believed to be due to encephalitis following vaccination or inoculation have been received; and whether any and, if so, how many of these application have been granted?

Sir W. Womersley

I regret that the records of my Department do not enable me to furnish the information asked for by the hon. Member.
