HC Deb 11 November 1943 vol 393 c1322W
Mr. Stokes

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Economic Warfare Whether the Belgian and Greek Governments at present domiciled in this country concur in the policy now being followed by His Majesty's Government in regard to shipments of food into Belgium and Greece?

Mr. Foot

The Greek Government are in constant communication with His Majesty's Government regarding the operation of the relief scheme. I should not feel justified, however, in revealing the nature of such communications which are, of course, confidential. The general attitude of the Belgian Government was set out in a speech made by M. Pierlot on 19th March, and published in the Press.
