Mr. Bernard Taylorasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware of the hardship caused to cadets of the A.T.C. owing to not being supplied with overcoats and service boots; and will he now give his permission for them to be supplied?
§ Mr. DaltonUniforms for cadets of the A.T.C. are issued by the Air Ministry from their own allocation of material. The question whether the issue should include overcoats and boots is, therefore, one for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Air. I regret that it would be quite impossible for me to find material for this purpose from the limited civilian allocation.
