§ Mr. ButlerAlthough the shortage of educational books is hampering the schools, it has not up to now been so detrimental as to imperil the efficiency of their work. As the books in use wear out the difficulties will increase, but I hope that the position will be helped by the increased allocation of paper which was announced yesterday by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Production in reply to a Question by the hon. Member for the English Universities (Mr. Harvey).
