§ Mr., H. MorrisonNo chin-strap is provided for the civilian type of steel helmet because this helmet does not normally require it. Lugs are, however, provided on the helmet, to which improvised chinstraps, such as tape, can be attached, and fireguards to whom helmets are issued can make their own chin-straps in this way.
