§ Mr. MabaneThere is no evidence of any wider variation in the taste or palatability of National Bread to-day than there used to be in white bread before the war. My Department makes continuous efforts to improve the quality of bread throughout the country by such means as direct communication with individual bakers and notices in the technical Press giving details of the best production methods.
