§ Captain Crowderasked the Secretary of State for War whether he will ensure that soldiers who are discharged from the Forces on health grounds are informed that if they wish to claim a pension it is essential for them to make an application, as many are unaware of this fact?
Sir J. GriǵǵMy hon. and gallant Friend appears to be under a misapprehension. Cases of men invalided from the Army are referred automatically for the consideration of my right hon. Friend the Minister of Pensions. I would also refer to the reply given by him to a Question on a similar subject by the hon. Member for North Cornwall (Mr. Horabin) on 19th November, 1942.
