§ Mr. DaltonThe arrangements for the calling-up of men for military service are in the hands of my right hon. Friend the Minister of Labour and National Service, but in cases where I consider that immediate calling up of the sole owner or manager of a small business would affect essential civilian production, I am prepared to make representations to him.
