asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he will consider issuing a White Paper, similar in substance to the Report on Lend-Lease recently submitted to the Congress, explaining the extent of our contribution to the United Nations on the Lend-Lease principle?

I agree with my hon. Friend that a statement on this matter would be desirable and I will not fail to bear his suggestion in mind.
