HC Deb 30 March 1943 vol 388 c49W
Mr. Magnay

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power the average total output of saleable coal per wage-earner for the 24 weeks ended 20th February, 1942?

Major Lloyd George

I presume that my hon. Friend is referring to the 24 weeks ended 20th February, 1943, since the corresponding 24 weeks of 1942 ended on the 21st February. The output per wage-earner employed for the 24 weeks ended 20th February, 1943, was 135 tons. The output per wage-earner employed in the 24 weeks ended 21st February, 1942, was 137 tons.
