HC Deb 25 March 1943 vol 387 cc1790-1W
Commander Locker-Lampson

asked the Home Secretary how many cases there are or male detainees who have been refused permission to leave prison to marry a woman who is pregnant as a result of their cohabitation?

Mr. H. Morrison

The case of the alien to whom I referred last week in reply to a Question by the hon. and gallant Member for Chippenham (Colonel Cazalet) is, so far as I know, the only case in which a man is alleged during his detention to have found opportunities to produce such a situation as that referred to in this Question.
