§ Mr. E. BrownProvisions relating to sanitary and other conditions at dairy farms are contained in the Milk and Dairies Order, 1926, and are enforced by local authorities. Compliance with those provisions is becoming increasingly difficult owing to shortage of labour and materials and other factors directly associated with the war. The attention of local authorities has recently been drawn to the position and they have been asked to concentrate attention upon cleanliness and methods of production.
