§ Mr. MabaneWhen the surplus milk is temporarily diverted from the dairyman to a depot, from 2–3 days are usually required in which to complete the necessary arrangements. If, however, the surplus milk has to be permanently diverted at the farm, the new arrangements may take from 2–3 weeks to complete. The dairyman, until these arrangements are completed, is allowed to dispose of the surplus to his registered customers,1204W but must surrender the surplus milk so soon as the necessary direction reaches him.
