§ Colonel StanleyIncreases in taxation to meet wartime needs have taken place in all Colonies, including the introduction of Excess Profits Tax and Income Tax in many of them and increases in Income Tax rates in those where the tax already existed. It would involve a disproportionate amount of labour to extract detailed information about all the Colonies from the available records, but I should be happy to supply the hon. Member with. information about any particular Colony.
