HC Deb 10 June 1943 vol 390 c860W
Mr. Leach

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether the New Forest Verderers' Court will keep records of the young cattle compulsorily inoculated against contagious abortion; whether a live vaccine or a dead vaccine is to be used in the inoculations; and what means will the verderers' court have of ascertaining whether the inoculated cattle have actually been protected by the inoculations?

Mr. Hudson

I understand that the verderers have under consideration a scheme of calf vaccination against contagious abortion to operate in the New Forest next year, but I am as yet unaware of the details of the proposed scheme.
