§ Mr. BevinMy Department is notified by the appropriate Service Department of every man discharged from the Forces on medical grounds, and his particulars are referred to the local office nearest his last known address. If the man has not already attended the local office and is not being dealt with under the interim scheme for the training and resettlement of disabled persons, he is requested and, if necessary, directed to attend for interview, in order that the local office may consider how he can best be employed in the national interest.
