§ Mr. E. BrownNo, Sir, but I shall be happy to discuss the matter with the associations of local authorities when they so desire. As however the main factors to be taken into account are the cost of house-building and rent-paying capacity during the post-war period, I doubt whether a discussion at the present time would serve any useful purpose.
