§ Mr. BevinI would refer my hon. Friend to the replies given to the hon. Member for East Islington (Mrs. Cazalet Keir) on 13th May and 24th June, in which I explained that I had in mind certain proposals for alleviating amongst others the problem arising from the shortage of domestic help in private households where there are special circumstances such as confinement and sickness. I would also draw his attention to the home help schemes under the Maternity and Child Welfare authorities which are being encouraged by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Health.
