§ Mr. Loverseedasked the Minister of Supply what steps have been taken to prevent the dumping, for use after the war, of turnings and residues containing high percentages of tin and copper, by firms engaged on machining work on nonferrous materials?
§ Sir A. DuncanThe Ministry of Supply is in close touch with the main consumers of non-ferrous metals and ensures, when releasing virgin metals, that full use is2112W made of any scrap available. I have no reason to suppose that there is any undue accumulation of scrap by machinists, but if my hon. Friend has any particular case in mind I shall be glad to make inquiries.
