§ Mr. LawI am fully aware of the importance of ensuring that war criminals shall not escape punishment after the war owing to the difficulty of obtaining custody of the criminals in question. The matter is under discussion with the Allied Governments concerned and my hon. Friend may rest assured that all possible steps will be taken to ensure that the criminals do not escape justice.
