WoodI am advised that no special difficulties arise in Wales because of the use of the ordinary Income Tax forms and in these circumstances I do not consider that it would be reasonable especially in wartime to incur the considerable additional expenditure involved in the production in Welsh of the Income Tax forms and the accompanying explanatory literature. I may remind my hon. Friend that the broadcasts in explanation of the Income Tax have been in Welsh as well as in English, and that the staff in appropriate tax offices in Wales include Welsh-speaking officials.
