§ Mr. HicksThe addition of 1s. 6d. per ton, which applies only to Portland and-rapid hardening cement, took effect as from 27th August last and was authorised on account of increases in production costs. My Noble Friend has not, since the date mentioned, authorised increased selling prices of any other materials controlled by the Ministry.
