§ Captain BalfourAfter the area referred to was clear of enemy aircraft, the "raiders passed" signal was sounded in accordance with normal procedure. Shortly before the signal was given, however, and possibly for a minute or two thereafter, a few rounds of A.A. fire were directed against one of our own night-operating aircraft.
