§ Mr. H. MorrisonLocal authorities have been authorised to provide overalls and rubber overboots for their trailer pump crews, on a duty basis. In addition, I am about to suggest that those authorities who withdrew mackintoshes from the wardens' service on the issue of greatcoats should make them available for this purpose. I do not regard the position as wholly satisfactory, and we are doing what we can to find some substitute for the waterproof materials which are in short supply.
