HC Deb 17 February 1943 vol 386 c1751W
Mr. Lipson

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he has received the report of the committee which has been considering the future of Voluntary Aid Detachments; and will he state what action he proposes to take in the matter?

Mr. A. Henderson

The progress of the committee's deliberations has been somewhat delayed by the unfortunate accident to its chairman, my right hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Kelvingrove (Colonel Elliot), but it has now resumed its sittings and I have reason to hope that it will be in a position to submit its report in the course of the next few weeks.
