asked the President of the Board of Education whether he is aware that the Boy Scouts Association is doing a valuable work in training boys to be good citizens of this country; and whether he will take further steps to encourage the movement?

Mr. Butler

Yes, Sir. I am well aware of the valuable work carried on by the Boy Scouts Association in training boys in good citizenship. My Department are giving substantial assistance to the Association towards the maintenance and development of its activities, and my hon. Friend may rest assured that I shall continue to give it my support and encouragement.
