HC Deb 11 February 1943 vol 386 c1460W
Sir H. Morris-Jones

asked the Minister of Health what is the allocation for Wales in the 3,000 cottages for rural workers proposed to be built, if possible giving the percentage or actual number for each county; and whether there is any provision in this scheme for a supply of electricity to each cottage?

Mr. E. Brown

The numbers of cottages allocated to each county in Wales and to Monmouthshire are as follow:

Anglesey 16
Brecon 16
Caernarvon 26
Cardigan 30
Carmarthen 30
Denbigh 30
Flint 16
Glamorgan 30
Merioneth 16
Montgomery 30
Pembroke 30
Radnor 20
Monmouthshire 26

Electricity will be supplied to these cottages wherever it is reasonably available.
