HC Deb 02 February 1943 vol 386 cc764-5W
Dr. Morgan

asked the Minister of Information whether, having regard to the fact that the British Broadcasting Corporation has allowed a one-sided broadcast on West Indian welfare schemes to be made by Sir Frank Stockdale, a Colonial Office official, without any opportunity for questions or discussions, he will direct the British Broadcasting Corporation to afford an opportunity for the West Indian side of the case to be broadcast by someone with knowledge of the voteless workers in those islands?

Mr. Bracken

No, Sir. The hon. Member must not expect me to give directions to the B.B.C. as to the subjects and speakers they should choose.
