HC Deb 02 February 1943 vol 386 c763W
Mr. Groves

asked the Minister of Supply whether, in connection with the banning from manufacture of baskets, his attention has been called to the hardships imposed upon hundreds of sightless people who can only make small, but essential cycle and shopping baskets; and will he consider releasing these two types of baskets?

Sir A. Duncan

I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer which I gave to the hon. Member for Cheltenham (Mr. Lipson) on 27th January, 1943.
