asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he has yet received the report of the Sub-Committee of the Taylor Committee which has been considering rates of pay and conditions of service of nurses employed in mental hospitals and institutions in Scotland?

Yes, Sir. Copies of the report are available in the Vote Office today. I am considering the report and the action to be taken on it in consultation with my right hon. Friend, the Minister of Labour and National Service, and I hope to make a further announcement shortly.
