§ Colonel StanleyThe general desirability of regional organisation of research is a matter to which the Colonial Research Committee has drawn attention in its Progress Report for 1942–43, which has just been laid before Parliament. The question of providing such co-ordination in 1561W East Africa is under consideration, but I regret that I am not at present in a position to make any statement.
