§ Wing-Commander Grant-Ferrisasked the Secretary of State for Air whether he is aware that there are no R.A.F. full-time welfare officers employed exclusively on welfare duties in the United Kingdom except in Air Ministry or on Command levels, &c.; and whether he will take steps to rectify this deficiency?
§ Sir A. SinclairExperience has shown that at R.A.F. stations welfare activities can best be carried out by fully representative welfare committees. In addition, part-time welfare officers are included in the staffs of command and group headquarters. The facilities provided under the Army welfare organisation which serves both the Army and the Royal Air Force, are also available. These arrangements are working well but are constantly being adapted to new and changing requirements.
