HC Deb 07 December 1943 vol 395 cc793-4W
Mr. E. Williams

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport who authorises the use of omnibuses to take workers from Bridgend to Porthcawl for dances; and whether he will inquire why two double-decker omnibuses were at Pyle on Friday night last to take 20 workers home from the dance?

Mr. Noel-Baker

The Regional Transport Commissioner is not aware that any authority has been given for special omnibuses to take workers from Bridgend to Porthcawl for dances, nor is he able to trace the case to which my hon. Friend refers. If my hon. Friend can let me have further details I will cause further inquiries to be made.
